Lapsi, Labsi, Lausi,  (लप्सी, लब्सी, लउसी) - Nepalese Hog Plum Hog plum is a deciduous tree reaching 15–22 metres (49–72 feet) in height. The bark is deeply fissured. The plant typically drops most of its compound leaves before flowering. The drupe fruits are about 4 cm (1.6 inches) in length and have a leathery yellow-green skin. Common Name: Nepalese Hog Plum Botanical Name: Choerosopondias axillaries Roxb. Family: Anacardiaceae Lapsi (also known as labsi or lausi) are a native fruit of Nepal.  The tall subtropical tree can be found growing in many parts of the country.  The fruit is greenish-yellow when ripe and roughly resembles a small oval-shaped plum.  It is extremely sour, even when fully ripe, and has a high vitamin C content.  The fruit has a tough fibrous skin and pale yellow flesh, which is firmly attached to a large brown seed.  The pulp is difficult to separate from the seeds, but once cooked it separates easily.  A ripe lapsi has a pleasantly tart flavor

Baudha Stupa is one of the most holy places of worship for Buddhists in Nepal. Every year hundreds and thousands of people from all over the world visit this holy place. For tourists this is a must stop place.

As per Buddhist traditions, you walk Clock Wise around the Stupa and say your prayers. In addition you can spin the Prayer Wheels as you walk.

After your walk feel free to stop by the many popular eateries along the Stupa. Some of the good ones are Cafe Aria for coffee and snacks, Road House Cafe for pizza, Galleria for everything else. There are some other ones around too but I dont remember their names. For disclaimer purposes, I have no connection to any of these restaurants places named.
