Kubhindo - Ash Gourd (कुभिन्डो) Ash Gourd (Winter Melon) : Nutrition, Benefits, and Uses Kubhindo is also called, Ash Gourd, Wax Gourd, White Gourd or Winter Melon , and it is a watermelon or pumpkin look-like large gourd.  The gourd range from oblong to cylindrical and has a pale green skin with a chalky wax coating.  The mature gourd has a hard and tough shell with a firm and white flesh.  It is one of the common vegetable grown in Nepal, India, China and many parts of Southeast Asia. Miss Nepal Pageant

The Hidden Treasure, Miss Nepal is the largest beauty pageant held annually in Kathmandu, Nepal. Since the start of this pageant in 1994, it has been a source of empowerment and inspiration to not only women but everyone.
Each of our winners has something unique to offer from which many individuals benefit. Contrary to popular belief, this pageant is not only about glamour, fame, sparkly dresses and tiaras; it is about feminism, girl power, kindness, humility, and unity. We are proud of all of our past winners and immensely joyed to watch them peruse their ambition. The winners of the event compete in Miss World, Miss Earth, Miss International and Miss Supranational. As the name of our company suggests; “The Hidden Treasure” we scour Nepal to find the perfect gem for our treasure trove who then go to represent the country internationally. The Hidden Treasure Miss Nepal 2019 title holders are: Anushka Shrestha as Miss Nepal World, Riya Basnet as Miss Nepal Earth, Meera Kachhepati as Miss Nepal International, Pradeepta Adhikari as Miss Nepal Universe, and Rose Lama as Miss Nepal Supranational.
Objectives of Miss Nepal:
One of the responsibilities as Miss Nepal is being an ambassador of Nepal. Our objective rests on three pillars: personality development, leadership development and women empowerment. Keeping these objectives in mind we search a candidate with a determined personality that combines beauty, brain, confidence and a positive mind. A strong Miss Nepal must also possess interests in empowering women; engage in social service and in promoting issues related to women. To give the Miss Nepal pageant a more professional approach, senior members of Kathmandu Jaycees that were involved in organizing the first Miss Nepal Pageant in 1994, established The Hidden Treasure (1995), which now annually organizes Miss Nepal Pageants. The revenue generated from Miss Nepal Pageants is donated for the various community development projects of JCI Kathmandu-Nepal.

Its winter time and what a perfect way to warm up by watching the beautiful women of Miss Nepal.
